Joe G. Grailer III, EdD, MFA, PMP

Dr. Grailer is a Clinical Program Manager in the Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics at Washington University School of Medicine. He manages Compass, a leadership and management training and mentoring program for early-career researchers. He completed his EdD in Educational Practice at the University of Missouri – St. Louis where his research focused on the impact educational systems design has on student success and career trajectories; and his dissertation sought to identify community college students at risk of dropping out and retention interventions to help them persist. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP®) with over 15 years of experience serving in teaching, administrative, and research roles in higher education.
