Research Statistician II

Michelle Hendricks is a research statistician in the Center for Advancing Health Services, Policy and Economics Research. She conducts analyses on Medicare claims, with a focus on cost standardization and managed care in vulnerable populations. She earned her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Saint Louis University with a concentration in quantitative behavioral research methods. She has experience conducting statistical analyses and designing quantitative studies in multiple areas of research including health, behavioral health, social determinants of health, substance use and violence prevention. She previously worked at Comagine Health, where she conducted statistical analyses and led analytic teams for a portfolio of quantitative research studies and evaluation projects that linked Oregon All Payer All Claims database to other administrative datasets (e.g., U.S. Census, vital statistics, hospital discharge) to examine research questions related to the opioid epidemic.
