Ellen Wilbanks, MHA, BSN, RN, CPPS

Ellen Wilbanks received her BSN degree at University of Missouri and started her nursing career at BJH on 14400/500. She then received her Master of Health Administration at St. Louis University and moved into nursing leadership. Ellen served as a nurse manager for several years in various departments including inpatient surgery, float pool, PACU, and interventional clinic. As a Patient Safety and Quality Nurse Coordinator at Washington University School of Medicine, she supports many divisions within the Department of Medicine reviewing patient safety events, collaborating with BJH in safety event investigations, and assisting with process improvement initiatives.
