Elizabeth Bingheim, MPH, CPH

Senior Public Health Research Technician

Elizabeth completed her Summer internship with the Bioethics Research Center in 2022 and joined on as full-time staff in the Fall of 2023. She received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from Saint Louis University and collaborated with faculty on environmental health research.

Elizabeth started her professional career in 2019 at the Monroe County Health Department where she authored the Illinois Project for Local Assessment of Needs (IPLAN) to maintain local health department (LHD) accreditation. She also has experience in emergency preparedness, disease surveillance, and data entry.

At the BRC Elizabeth works primarily on the Compass, a leadership and management program for early-career biomedical researchers, serving as the Peer Mentoring Team (PMT) Coordinator. She assists program scholars in practicing effective interpersonal communication to foster teamwork, collaboration, and success. She also contributes to the continuous improvement of the program through content development and data analysis.
