
Oluwatomisin (Tomi) Ogungbenle, MA is a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate in Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University (SLU). She earned her Master’s degree in Health Care Ethics from The University of Louisville and has extensive experience in empirical research and analysis.
Tomi’s research at SLU centers on the intersection of reproductive technologies, autonomy, and justice, with a particular focus on underserved populations. Her professional journey includes roles as a Research Fellow, Research Assistant, and Research Intern with institutions like Advocate Health, Abt Associates, UofL Health, and Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness. These experiences have equipped her with a robust skill set, including the ability to provide policy recommendations to city governments, as well as expertise in navigating complex ethical challenges in health care and health care systems.
