I encourage physicians who aren’t involved in ACP to get involved.
Forget
Congratulations to our Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics colleague, Dr. Nickole Forget, for receiving the Laureate Award from the Missouri chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP).
“Knowing some of the greats who have received this award, I am both honored and humbled,” Dr. Forget shares. “I will do my best to continue to represent the mission and values the ACP puts forward, and I encourage physicians who are not involved in ACP to get involved. It is a great way to explore physician roles outside the clinical setting and be a part of a policy advancement team.”
The Laureate Award honors ACP Fellows and Masters who have demonstrated their commitment to excellence in medical care, education, research and service to their community, their chapter, and the college. Awardees are generally senior physicians and have been fellows for at least 15 to 20 years with a long history of excellence and peer approval in the specialty of internal medicine along with serving the College with distinction.
