Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital are nationally ranked, world-class teaching hospitals with a strong network of in- and outpatient health care services. The Medical Center serves a large population of older adults from a range of backgrounds and economic circumstances. It has several innovative programs making it an excellent location for clinical geriatric training.
There are nearly 100 training programs at WashU Medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the organization that accredits sponsoring institutions and training programs across the United States.
