Our division is seeking qualified candidates in clinical and research work who are willing to provide exceptional patient care, education & training, and research. Faculty in the Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics practice at various locations such as:

- Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM)
- Washington University Complete Care
- Primary Care Medicine Clinic at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (PCMC)
- Barnes West County Geriatric Primary Care Clinic
Not only is our faculty highly skilled in clinical work, our GMG-Research faculty leads research in areas including:
The Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics (GMG) leads clinical and translational research in many areas, including: bioethics, epidemiology, health behavior, health services, informatics and occupational health:
- The Bioethics Research Center conducts original research, educational programs for researchers and ethics consultations, including ethical issues relating to Alzheimer’s disease, informed consent, cancer, organ transplantation, and mental health services.
- Epidemiology research in GMG includes spatial epidemiology focused on the effects of neighborhood factors on health, and the pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacogenetics of anticoagulants.
- The Health Behavior, Communication & Outreach Core provides high quality services in behavioral science, health education and communication, program evaluation, and psychological quality-of-life assessments.
- The Institute for Informatics, Data Science and Biostatistics (I2DB) engages in innovative research, workforce development and informatics service delivery.
- The Healthy Work Center addresses health in working populations, including reduction of musculoskeletal injuries, development of exposure assessment methods for epidemiology studies, and promoting mental health and wellness, including the prevention of suicide and substance use disorders, in high risk worker populations.
