Brandie A. Thurman

Brandie currently serves as the Assistant to the Chief in the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics. She has been a member of the Washington University family for over a decade, as a graduate with a Bachelor of Science and an employee, starting off in the Office of Sponsored Research Services. She later transitioned to Gastroenterology before joining the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics.

 Brandie assists the Division Chief and manages his calendar and appointments as well as travel and other duties as assigned. She manages faculty credentialing, promotions and appointments as well as recruitment efforts. She also works closely with the Manager of Business Operations for the research unit with duties including payroll/personnel and division event planning & management.
