Biography

In her current role as Assistant Dean for Educational Technology and Innovation, Dr. Dufault oversees the design and implementation of core academic technology and educational infrastructure for the MD Program. She also leads efforts to enable comprehensive curriculum mapping, reporting, and data visualization for competency-based medical education at WUSM. She is the faculty lead for the Educational Technology and Innovation Unit (ETIU), which includes the WUSM Instructional Design Studio that she helped design and launch in 2019. Dr. Dufault has over 10 years of teaching experience at Washington University, including courses in research methods, cognitive science, and behavioral science. She received her BA in Neuroscience from Mount Holyoke College and her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
