Emma Ludwig, MD is a clinician-educator and Assistant Professor of General Medicine & Geriatrics at Washington University in St. Louis. She received her MD degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and completed Internal Medicine Residency training at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. She then completed her fellowship training in Geriatrics at Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital, where she specialized in the management of older adults with diverse medical conditions. 

Her clinical responsibilities include working as a Geriatric primary care provider and precepting in the Geriatric fellowship and Internal Medicine primary care clinics.  Her clinical interests include cognitive impairment/dementia, mitigating polypharmacy, preservation of independence,  depression/anxiety, fall prevention, malnutrition and end-of-life care.
