Medical Director for the Geriatric Assessment Clinic, Associate Professor of Medicine

Megan Rau, MD serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics and the Medical Director for the Geriatric Assessment Clinic in the Center for Advanced Medicine, where she provides patient care. She also works closely with Dr. Binder to transition into the role of Geriatrics Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Rau received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed Internal Medicine Residency, on the Primary Care Track, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She completed a Geriatrics and Palliative Care Integrated Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Rau held the title of Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She served as Assistant Program Director for the NYU Geriatric and Palliative Care Integrated Fellowship and Service Chief for the Geriatrics Consult Service.
