Po-Yin Yen, PhD, RN, is an Associate Professor both in the Institute for Informatics, Data Science & Biostatistics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and in Goldfarb School of Nursing, Barnes-Jewish College, BJC Healthcare. Her research interest includes health information technology (Health IT) usability evaluation, technology acceptance and adoption, human computer interaction, time motion study, literature mining, and data visualization. Dr. Yen’s research goals are to promote applied clinical informatics research, foster the connection between research and practice, support informatics training to the next generation of health professions education, and provide a user-friendly Health IT environment for clinicians.
