Senior Project Manager

Shelby Cripe joined the Applied Health Behavior Research (AHBR) program in 2023. She currently works as the Senior Project Manager, occupying a unique role within a shared staffing model that supports the education programs housed within both the Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics (GMG) and the Institute for Informatics, Data Science & Biostatistics (I2DB). Shelby earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2017 and later completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2019. In 2020, she started working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at WashU where she worked on pediatric and genetic research studies. 

In her role, Shelby’s main responsibilities are academic advising and student support while also working on recruiting students to the graduate programs, course management, marketing, and curriculum updating. She also enjoys collaborating with her education team members as well as members of other education programs across the university to improve the cohesiveness across programs.
