Biography

Megan E. Wren, MD, MACP is a clinician-educator and Professor of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. She has AB and MD degrees from Washington University. She completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She provides patient care at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and at the Washington University Complete Care outpatient practice.

Dr. Wren has more than 30 years’ experience in graduate and undergraduate medical education. For 18 years, she directed the Practice of Medicine course, which focuses on the development of essential doctoring skills for 2nd year medical students. She has been an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine residency for more than 35 years, teaching, mentoring, and advising young resident physicians. Her areas of interest include primary care, disease prevention and screening.
